This is a tawny-red lovely fortified – honeyed – very rancio – a taut acid – and may be best described as earthy, leafy, brulee and simply delicious. Made from Chambourcin and Shiraz with 16.5% Alcohol. Ideal with chocolate, with Christmas fruit pudding, with butterscotch pudding and a favourite cheese. Well suited to Scenic Rim winter evenings around a fire. Master of Wine rating 89/100.
